About the role
The QA Engineer ensures the quality and reliability of applications and systems used in lending operations. The role conducts manual and automated testing to identify and prevent defects.
This position maintains the stability and performance of systems as software releases and processes evolve.
Responsibilities and competencies
- Develop and execute test plans and cases
- Conduct manual and automated testing
- Report and track defects
- Verify fixes and validate releases
- Support improvements in QA processes
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Structured testing approach
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Collaboration with development teams
Requirements
- Minimum of 2:1 in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technology field, or equivalent education in quality assurance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and frameworks
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications
