The Legal Counsel provides legal guidance on financial operations, contracts, and regulatory matters. The role reviews agreements and supports risk mitigation through legal oversight. This position ensures operations comply with applicable laws and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities and competencies
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements
- Provide legal advice on operations and regulatory matters
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise management
- Support dispute resolution and legal risk management
- Collaborate with compliance and operations teams

Requirements
- Minimum of 2:1 in Law with admission to practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services or lending, legal advisory
- Knowledge of regulatory and contractual frameworks
- Strong analytical and communication skills
